                                    To recognize and celebrate the US Constitution, the Institute for Civic Engagement invites you to participate in this Constitution Day event:
Tuesday, Sept. 19, Be A Change-Maker.  Zoom-based event with campuses in the State University of New York and the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education.  Online via Zoom, Register here, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
"Be an Agent for Change:  Use your power to petition the government."
In collaboration with colleagues at SUNY Nassau (host), Oswego, and Plattsburgh, and at the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education.
Students from each campus have the opportunity to interact with students from other campuses.
Three parts
o    Keynote – Natalie Higgins, Massachusetts State Representative
o    Panel discussion.  Panelists are
-      Adam Saccardi, Director of Constituent Services for U.S. Rep. Nick LaLota (R, NY- 1).
-      Manu Meel, CEO of BridgeUSA
-      Possibly Joshua Lafazan (D, NYS Legislator, District 18)
o    Workshop – small-group discussion followed by full-group debrief.
