Public Lecture and Demonstration: Tai Chi Grandmaster Dr. Jesse Tsao will present "The Healing Breath: Tai Chi and Qigong for Vitality,” Sperry Center, Room 205, 7 to 8:30 p.m.

While breathing seems automatic, it is one of the most powerful tools for well-being when harnessed properly. In ancient practices like Tai Chi and Qigong, breath is the cornerstone of health and vitality.

Join Tai Chi Grandmaster Dr. Jesse Tsao as he leads an enlightening lecture and demonstration on how to synchronize breath with movement for maximum benefit. You’ll experience firsthand how Tai Chi postures like Wave Hands Like Clouds, Grasp Bird’s Tail, and Single Whip can enhance your breathing, relax your muscles, and activate your body’s natural energy flow.

The following day, there will be a Tai Chi Workshop

Saturday, Oct. 19

Tai Chi Workshop: With Tai Chi with Grandmaster Dr. Jesse Tsao, Park Center, Room 2218, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A box lunch is included.
