Britta Freitag-Hild is a professor of English Language Education (TEFL) at the Department of English and American Studies at the Universität Potsdam, Germany. She and Gigi Peterson (history and social studies education) will discuss their collaboration since 2020, which involved virtual exchanges between classes, in person exchanges to Potsdam, and publishing. Dr. Freitag00ad Hild will also discuss growing exchange opportunities. Her research specialties include children's and young adult literature, global education/education for sustainable development and global citizenship in the foreign language classroom, and genre-based language learning.
