Doing Business in NYC happening in New York City on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, co-sponsored by Alumni Engagement and Career Services. Open to all majors. This event provides the opportunity to learn from and network with SUNY Cortland alumni who are working at NYC companies by visiting an actual office.
REGISTER NOW for Site Visits: Registered participants will select a site visit (first-come, first-served) to a company in New York City and learn about the day-to-day life in various occupations. Sites include:
Bank of America - Merrill Lynch; Host: Mario DiCerbo ’97, Sr. Vice President/Market Executive of Commercial Banking
Citi Global Headquarters; Host: Dan Walker ’06, Sr. Vice President/Project Lead
New York Jets at Met Life Stadium; Host: Jack Holmgren ’07, Director of Game Presentation and Fan Engagement for the New York Jets
NBC Universal; Host: Alex Khilnani ’07, Senior Director of Planning, Yield Strategy, Revenue Innovation & Analytics at NBC Sports & Olympics
Networking Reception: Later that day, please plan to network with notable alumni working in the NYC area at the Doing Business in NYC: Annual Alumni-Student Networking Event, at the SUNY Global Center from 6 to 9 p.m. The networking event allows current students to connect with alums in various industries. Learn about the world of work and build your professional network with other Red Dragons working in NYC and its surrounding areas.
