“Second-Hand Saints” chronicles the decade-long search for everyday Christians whose lives reflect extraordinary faith, including an African American coach who finds joy amid tragedy through cooking soul food with a grieving young athlete. This seminar will also feature original black-and-white illustrations by Ellen V. Rahner, whose work explores culturally diverse and nontraditional portrayals of the sacred.
