This exhibition features two site-specific sculptural installations by artist Ian McMahon that focus on materiality and temporality. The pieces are constructed to be too large to remove from the space as a whole, making their inevitable demise inherit in their dimensions. A monumental curtain form in the main space, alluding to the concept of stage and theatre, will be destroyed in a public performance on the last day of the exhibition.
